About the Role

Future S.E.T. is seeking a Program Coordinator (Part-Time) to be the facilitate the management of several of our core Agri-Tech and research-based initiatives at Future S.E.T. This ranges from our community greenhouse project, hydroponic systems design programs, The Green Innovators Club, tailored programming initiatives and community events.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and excited to work at the intersection of sustainable agriculture, innovative research, and youth development. As Program Coordinator, you will be instrumental in guiding project timelines, coordinating team members, organizing activities, and supporting the operational needs behind projects. You will also collaborate closely with youth participants, mentors, and research partners as we work to pioneer the next generation of agri-tech breakthroughs.

Requirements


We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can coordinate multiple projects within a dynamic non-profit environment. The ideal candidate will:


  • Support planning, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination of our greenhouse, hydroponic, and research-based projects.

  • Work directly with youth participants and mentors to ensure projects run smoothly and stay on track.

  • Manage communication, documentation, and project files for the Green Innovators Club and other programs.

  • Assist with organizing workshops, meetings, events, and community-based activities.

  • Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables, and report updates to the leadership team.

  • Provide administrative support such as data entry, recordkeeping, budget tracking, and preparing program materials.

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure projects align with organizational goals and community needs.

  • Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Have interest and/or relevant experience in agri-tech, hydroponics, sustainable agriculture, STEM programs, or community research (experience is helpful but not required).

Future S.E.T. (Science, Education & Technology) is a youth-powered non-profit dedicated to building the next generation of innovators in STEM and Agri-Tech with a focus on Black and racialized youth.
